When it comes to Space Frame Roof Systems, if you are not in the construction industry, it is very impossible for you to carry out an idea except to understand that it is a type of a roof system. The word “ Space “ in its name has little to do with it.
Space frame roof systems are basically a system whose carrier is formed by pipes and spheres ( nodes ). A 3-dimensional carrier system is created by connecting the pipes to the nodes with bolts at an angle. Together with the purlin holder products on this system and the installation of purlins on it, the roof system becomes available for roof clad
ding. Space frame systems are carried by systems called supports on the carriers ( cloumns ), which are more resistant and calculated and produced in accordance with load transfer. The system designed based on this load transfer basis is based on the principle of keeping the system standing by transferring earthquake and other column-support loads caused by disasters such as earthquakes or ground settlements within the system itself with pipes and node points. We have seen our installations that have not been damaged in earthquake zones. In another application, we also witnessed that the space frame system, which experienced ground settlement on its two columns, remained standing again with the loads transferred to other supports.
Space roof systems are generally used and preferred in different segments such as industrial buildings, airports, hangars, shopping malls, sports halls, swimming pools, energy facilities stock areas where large spans are required. After submitting our offer, we return to our customers, get their opinion about the suitability of the solved space truss system for their own structures and details, and if necessary, make revisions and transmit them again, we try to fulfill their demands and satisfy them as much as possible by not breaking off contact with the customer until the last stage. Even if our customer does not prefer to have the Space roof system built by Altınyaldız, he becomes an acquaintance for us, with whom we meet, establish a relationship, chat and will always provide support for their projects.
